How much does each length cost?

In every package: an AI opening and a personal song

Outside Israel, any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live is added at checkout and shown before you pay.

In Israel, the price in shekels is the final price, with nothing added by Glim.

“Buy now” opens checkout with the package already chosen. You pay without signing up first: what you buy is kept for the e-mail address you give, and moves into your balance when you sign up or sign in with it, once that address is confirmed.

What does a film for your occasion cost?

It depends on the length, and the length depends on how many photos you use: each minute is 12 animations. In a Life Story film, each animation moves one photo into the next; in a Classic film, each photo comes alive on its own. Here's what we usually suggest:

Noy at four, laughing on the living-room rug with a pink headband.
Noy · from 4 to 12 · Example

Dollar prices are before any sales tax or VAT where you live; shekel prices are final in Israel.

For a family memorial evening, a 2-minute film is usually the right length: $45.90 for buyers outside Israel, before any sales tax or VAT where you live, or ₪149 in Israel.

The page on memorial videos covers Jewish mourning customs, whether to use music at all, and who can see the film.

What comes with every film?

  • An AI opening, made from a photo you choose, with your title on it in English or in Hebrew
  • A personal song, written and sung with AI from your answers, in English or in Hebrew
  • Titles in English or in Hebrew, with the Hebrew date, the Gregorian date, or both
  • A free retry for every animation, to use on whichever ones need it

You download an MP4 file in Full HD, not 4K, as many times as you like, in landscape (16:9) for a screen, square (1:1) for a social feed, or vertical (9:16) for stories. The people you send it to watch it from a link, with no sign-up and no app. You can set a premiere: the film opens for everyone with the link on the date and at the time you choose, up to a year ahead. You set the time in Israel time, and viewers abroad see the start time in their own time zone.

Can you buy before you sign up?

Yes. If you already know what you want, you can pay first and sign up afterward. Or try your first animation free, with no credit card, and pay when you're ready for the whole film. Either way, you end up with the same film.

Buying before you sign up takes three steps:

  1. Choose a length and select “Buy now”: checkout opens in English, with that package already selected.
  2. Choose $ if you're buying from outside Israel, and enter your e-mail for the receipt. Then “Pay securely” opens Freemius's payment window.
  3. Sign up or sign in with the same e-mail. Once that address is confirmed, your animations and retries move into your balance, and you can start your film.

Already signed in? “Buy now” takes you straight to your account's checkout, with the same package.

Right now, there are no coupons or discount codes, no installments, no gift cards or vouchers, and no physical products: the gift is the film itself, sent as a link or a file.

Are there extras that cost money?

Yes, a few, though you don't need any: a package has everything a film of its length needs. Putting the film together and editing it again cost no animations.

You buy add-ons in your account whenever you need them; “Buy now” is for packages only.

What if the film doesn't move you?

There are free retries, as many as the animations in your package. An animation that failed or was blocked goes back to your balance by itself, and you can make it again. And if the film doesn't move you, you get a full refund within 30 days of purchase, no reason needed, even if you've already made animations.

Two things to know about the refund:

  • A full refund ends access to the package, and with it the right to use the animations and films made with it. We may remove them from your account.
  • The promise doesn't apply when someone buys and asks for a refund again and again, opens more accounts to repeat it, pays fraudulently, or has an account suspended for breaking the terms of use. This doesn't affect your legal right to cancel.

How does Glim compare with a studio or doing it yourself?

  • A montage studio edits the film for you: you gather the photos and clips, send them, and approve the edit.
  • In a video editor or an app, you do all of it yourself: scanning, choosing, ordering, editing, music, and titles. On a free plan, it costs only your time.
  • In Glim, you choose the photos and their order, write the titles, and pick the music; AI sets the photos in motion. A film costs from $24.90 for buyers outside Israel, before any sales tax or VAT where you live, or ₪79 in Israel.

Questions about prices and paying

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once, by the length of the film, and the animations never expire. There are no recurring charges.

Can I pay in pounds, euros, or Canadian dollars?

No. Checkout takes US dollars and shekels only, and outside Israel you can pay in US dollars, by card or PayPal. Glim charges no fees. Payment goes through Freemius, a US company, and some card companies charge their own fee for a payment abroad or in a foreign currency.

I live in Israel and read English. Which price is mine?

The shekel price. In Israel, the price in shekels is the final price, with nothing added by Glim. Dollars are for buyers outside Israel, so leave ₪ selected at checkout.

Can I buy it for family in Israel?

Yes. The package stays in your account, and the gift is the film itself: you make it there, then send it as a link that opens on an envelope with their name, or download the file for their TV or the party.

How long does it take to make the film?

Each animation usually takes 4–5 minutes. Several are made at the same time, not one after another, but a whole film still takes longer than one animation. Putting the film together is quick.
