How we write
Every page on Glim should help someone making a film for a person they love, even if they never buy anything. Here is how we write, check and correct, and what you won't find here.
Who writes
The pages on this site are written by Glim. Most first drafts are written by AI tools working to our guidelines, and a draft becomes a page only after every fact in it has been checked against the product itself, or against a source, with the date we checked it.
When a person writes a page, or reads and approves it, their name appears on the page with the date and a link to their introduction. A person signs only text they themselves wrote, or read and approved, and an AI is never listed as an author. A page without a person's name is Glim's.
Who reads and approves
Every new page, and every change to a page, goes to Tomer Gal, who founded Glim, to read and approve. A page he approved says “Reviewed and approved by Tomer Gal”, with the date he approved the version you're reading. The line appears only on a page Tomer approved as it reads now.
Where the facts come from
- Prices, packages, lengths and what's included: from the system that sells them, so the page and the checkout say the same thing.
- What the product does and doesn't do: from the app itself, the terms of use and the privacy policy.
- Law, customs, dates and other companies' prices: from a primary source (the law itself, a government site, the body in charge), with the date we checked it.
- The example films on this site were made for it, and the people in them are fictional. Each one says it's an example.
Sensitive topics
- A film in someone's memory: those pages have no offers, no urgency and no countdowns.
- Photos of children: we start with the facts about privacy and consent, not with fear.
- Customs and religion: described with care (“many families…”), with no halachic rulings, and we say where communities differ.
- Health: Glim doesn't claim a film helps with grief, dementia or illness. That isn't our field; for those questions, talk to a professional.
- National tragedy: we don't write pages or posts aimed at fallen soldiers, hostages, victims of terror or their families. Families may make whatever they wish in the app, but our marketing doesn't go there.
What you won't find here
- Invented testimonials, ratings, quotes or customer counts. A real testimonial will appear only with its writer's consent.
- “Studies show”, statistics or experts without a source you can check.
- A new “updated” date when nothing changed: the date on each page changes only when something in it really did.
- Unlabelled sponsored content: if we ever publish paid content, it will be labelled as advertising.
Found a mistake?
Tell us: hello@glim.co.il · phone 050-6793057 · WhatsApp. We'll check and fix it, and if the fix changes an important fact, such as a price, what's included or what's allowed, the page will say what was corrected and when.
