Glim reviews
Reviews from people who made a film with Glim appear here once there are enough of them, alongside the rules: how we ask for reviews, what we publish and when a review isn't published.
When reviews appear here
Ratings and reviews appear on this page only once there are enough approved reviews for the numbers to mean something. Until then, this page shows only the rules.
There are no reviews to show here yet.
How we ask for a review
Everyone gets the same request, the same way:
- In the app, after the film is ready.
- By e-mail, only to people who agreed to get marketing e-mails from us. Never by WhatsApp or SMS, and never inside an e-mail about an order.
- No reward of any kind for a review: no discount, no credit, no prize draw and no gift.
- We don't choose whom to ask by what they thought, and we never ask only happy customers. A one-star review goes the same way as a five-star one.
- We don't ask for a review of a memorial film.
What we publish
- From each account we count one review for each film made in it, the newest one approved. Its stars count in the average and the number of ratings for that kind of film, without a name and without the words.
- The words appear only if the people who wrote them ticked “Glim may publish what I wrote about the film”, under the name they chose: their full name, their first name only, or no name.
- We never edit a review: no cuts and no corrections, not even of a typo.
- Glim may add one public reply under a review, marked as Glim's.
- Each review shows the day it was written and the kind of film it's about.
When a review isn't published
We withhold a review only for one of these reasons:
- It's abusive: defamatory, harassing, vulgar or sexually explicit.
- It contains another person's personal details or picture, or confidential information.
- It discriminates against people for their race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion or a similar trait.
- We have good reason to believe it's fake, that is, not written from a real experience of a Glim film.
- It has nothing to do with Glim's films, including advertising for something else.
- It was written by someone who works for or with Glim, or by a close relative of theirs.
The rating is never a reason, and neither is the tone, criticism, or a complaint about price or quality. Whoever checks a review sees its words without its stars. If a review gets a fact wrong, we answer it in a public reply, and the review stays.
How to remove a review
You can remove your review at any time, from your account in the app or by e-mail to hello@glim.co.il. It comes off the site within 3 working days.
