About Glim
Glim™ turns photos of someone you love into a short, finished film: each photo moves gently with AI, and every package also includes an opening, a personal song and titles. It's a gift for a birthday, a bar or bat mitzvah, an anniversary or no reason at all, and a quiet way to remember someone you miss. The first animation is free, and a full film is paid once, with no subscription. Glim was founded by Tomer Gal and is run from Israel.
Glim at a glance
- What it is
- An Israeli service that turns photos into an AI-animated film gift, Hebrew first, English too (glim.co.il).

- Anyone you love: a baby, a couple, your parents or grandparents, a best friend, even the dog, and, quietly, someone you miss.

- Free restoration for a grainy, blurry or small photo: we sharpen it, clean it and enlarge small scans, on our own server and without AI. The original stays, and you can switch back.
- What it costs

Who is behind Glim
Glim was founded by Tomer Gal, who also answers on WhatsApp.
The service is run by a registered Israeli business: CodePal.AI (Adva Gal), an Israeli licensed dealer (osek murshe), no. 205666134, Hoshen 10, Ness Ziona. Glim is online only, with no shop; that is the business's address.
How a film is made
- Upload and arrange. Choose a style and a shape: wide for the projector, square, or vertical for phones. Upload photos from your phone or computer (JPEG, PNG, HEIC or WebP); each one is checked within seconds for faces, crop and content.
- The AI animates every photo. About five seconds of animation for each photo, or for every two neighbouring photos in Growing. Every animation gets an identity check. Not happy? Make it again from your bank of retries, at no extra cost.
- The film: opening, music and titles. Set the order, add an opening, a closing, music or a personal song, captions and dates, and compile. Download in Full HD, share a link, send it to the DJ.
AI animates the photos and, if you want them, also creates an opening, growing-up transitions and a personal song. We wrote down exactly where, what each provider gets and what Glim doesn't do: How Glim uses AI.
What Glim won't do
- Invent customers, testimonials, numbers or press. The films on this site are examples, and the people in them are fictional.
- Swap faces, add anyone who wasn't in the photo, clone voices or put words in anyone's mouth.
- Charge you for an AI failure: a creation that fails or is stopped by a check returns the animation to your balance automatically.
- Sell data, or train models on your photos. Under its own terms, KIE.ai, our main AI provider, may use the content it receives to operate and improve its service. Every provider
The name
The name is always Glim, in Latin letters, and the site is glim.co.il. Where the name alone isn't enough, as in a profile or a listing, it comes with what Glim is: “Glim, an AI film from your photos”. We have no connection to organizations, products or tools with similar names.
