An example first-birthday film: Tamar, her first year
Growing style51 seconds9 photos
This is a complete first-birthday film, a gift from parents to their daughter, made entirely in Glim, a service that turns photos of someone you love into a short AI-animated film. Nine photos of Tamar, from her first week in 2025 to her first birthday in 2026, flow into one another over 51 seconds, between an opening and an end card from Mom and Dad, with music from Glim’s library. Tamar and her family are invented: we made the photos with AI for this example. Nothing in the film was changed outside Glim.
A film like this needs 8 animations and an AI opening. The smallest package, 1 minute, has 12, and every package includes an AI opening. It costs ₪79, the final price in Israel. The first animation is free, no card needed.

The film also comes in a version where a voice tells what is on screen. The “Audio description” button under the film switches to it, or you can open it as a file. That voice is synthetic, made with AI.
